Oli’s Fashion Cuisine, located in Wellington, offers a high-end dining experience. This cuisine comes with an endless selection of tasty dishes to choose from.
The atmosphere is elegant, with white tablecloths, and dimmed soft lighting. The modern interior has some wooden and stone accents. The interior is also complemented with some framed modern art and photography on the wall. You will notice their elaborate bar that has an endless selection of wine and beverages. Their special for the night that I went was a Muddled Fig Honey Spritz, which has notes of honey, the flavor of fresh figs, and prosecco.
The service is quick, and the staff is professional, friendly, and determined to give you an experience that will have you planning your next visit.
As we dive into the food, you are first given a warm focaccia bread topped in fresh herbs with a side of their homemade pesto. There is a large selection of appetizers ranging from soup, crispy calamari, burrata, and more. I like to start off with their delicious crispy calamari. The calamari is coated to perfection making it golden and giving it that satisfying crunch in every bite. The calamari is paired with a sweet marinera sauce and a savory tartar sauce that will have your taste buds going wild. It was also served with tomatoes and pickled jalapenos that gave a little kick, but nothing too spicy. It was a perfect combination of flavors that will leave you feeling satisfied, yet not overwhelmed.
Oli’s offers a wide variety of entrées. You can choose anything from seafood, steak, lambchops, pasta, and more. For my entrée, I ordered the Bucatini Alfredo. The thick, hollow strands of pasta were cooked to a perfect al dente. The texture made each bite satisfying and left you wanting more. The pasta was mixed with a creamy, savory alfredo sauce that was made perfectly, without being too heavy. Grilled chicken chunks were also tossed into the pasta which complimented the meal well and made it more filling. The meal also comes with peas, but I ordered the meal without them due to personal preference. Each bite had a harmonious blend of flavor and texture, which made this the perfect comfort meal and extremely indulgent.
Oli’s has a great selection for dessert. Their selection includes their Monkey Bread Pudding, Chocolate Blackout Cake, Tres Leches Cake, Biscotti, sorbet, and gelato. Each dessert offers all the sweetness and indulgence one could dream of. In my opinion, the vanilla gelato is the way to go. After a delicious meal, what better way to end your dining experience than with something sweet?
