WHO:                                     Polo For A Purpose

                       

WHAT:                                              Wellington, FL January 16, 2017 Polo For A Purpose is a day to benefit The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) of Palm Beach on Martin Luther King Day, Monday, January 16, 2017. This event will include a VIP luncheon at noon, polo match beginning at 2:30pm and a live performance by the Gipsy Sound Revolution, formerly the Gypsy Kings at 4:00pm. The event will be co-chaired by International Polo Champion, Brandon Philips and Pam Payne.

ABOUT BRANDON PHILIPS:       In June of 1992 at the age of 14, Brandon was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma and was given six weeks to live. Drawing on his physical strength and positive outlook, Phillips was cancer free after five months of intensive chemotherapy and for the past 20 years of Phillips’ professional polo career, he has won many of the most coveted tournaments both in the US and internationally. Phillips is an ambassador for LLS which he hosts an annual fundraising event titled Polo For A Purpose. In his free time and through his polo career, Phillips gives back and help children with cancer.
