Faith Farm Ministries is sponsoring the 2009 Rally for Recovery that will be held in Bicentennial Park on September 12th. We will walk across the Rickenbacker Causeway to Watson Island and Back to The Park where there will be a festival and concert for a great family event. Faith Farm Alumni, Staff and Families will want to share in this excitement and fellowship. People from all over south Florida and beyond will be attending … expecting about 5,000! The event is put on by InTheRooms.com, a local foundation whose mission is to create public awareness of recovery … to let people know that the Face of Recovery is a very positive thing. No longer is the word associated with down and out … but it’s face represents up and coming, achievement, success and joy!
The first Rally was held last year in New York on the Brooklyn Bridge. They will be doing it again but now South Florida joins them. This is not just an organized event … it is a “movement”, and Faith Farm is delighted to be a sponsor of this movement in Florida.
