Eau Palm Beach
Oh Palm Beach
Waves rolling in
A gentle and kind woman
scrubbing my feet
while the kids splash
and play in the water
A beautiful day
Lunch brought on a tray
Just enough, just perfect
time to reflect
and swing in a chair
with toes dangling in the water
Steamed, showered, jacuzzi’d
then showered again
I am happy from the inside
glowing
We arrive home to a clean house
a knock on the door
cookies, made by the neighbors
What else will this day bring?
Dinner with Grandma and Grandpa
Everyone happy
stomachs are full
sunset bright pink and orange
A final burst of color
to accentuate the excellence of this day.
