Sierra Club Loxahatchee Group & Solar United Neighbors to Co-Host Enlightening Zoom Meeting on SOLAR 101

The Loxahatchee Group of the Sierra Club Florida Chapter and Solar United Neighbors are co-hosting an enlightening Zoom meeting on Solar 101, sharing the benefits of solar energy for both homes and businesses. The public is invited to this FREE online meetingthat will be held from 7:30 to 9 pm on Thursday, July 27.

The special guest speaker is Laura Tellez (below), South Florida Program Associate for Solar United Neighbors, who will discuss solar technology and economics as well as answer live questions and share resources for those wanting to explore solar for their energy needs. Zoom attendees will also learn about solar co-ops.

Tellez, who has worked with various nonprofit organizations and governmental agencies from Panama to Alaska, holds an M.S. in Ecological Leadership and Education and an Occupational Endorsement in Sustainable Energy.
