FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

West Palm Beach, Fla.– (May 19, 2021) The nonprofit, Digital Vibez is offering five summer camps throughout Palm Beach County in partnership with Palm Beach County Youth Services Department, Palm Beach County Parks and Recreation, West Jupiter Recreation Center, South Bay Crossroads Center, Gardens School of Technology Arts, Somerset Academy JFK and St. John Missionary Baptist Church. Focus on enrollment for the Palm Beach Gardens and Jupiter locations is encouraged as space is limited.

The TASC Enrichment Camp provides youth with opportunities to participate in a variety of activities such as but not limited to: Arts & crafts, dance fitness, social activities, Exer gaming, expressive writing, and more.

Each week hundreds of youths will engage in academic lessons pertaining to reading, math and science led by certified teachers to assist in preventing summer slide. Our Digital Vibez exclusive programs such as Fitness Jamz, Wellness Workshop, Digital Expressions, Digital DJ-ing & Hip-Hop Dance Lessons will also be implemented each week ensuring youth meet the suggested 60-minutes of physical activity and to find expressive ways to boost their confidence and tap into their natural talent by staff.

“We look forward to hearing how much each child loves our summer camp and everything we have to offer. It’s our goal each summer to create a safe space for youth who attend our camp to not only have access to meals each week but to also have the freedom to express themselves, ability to try new things and also the room to be creative” Cassy Romelus, Program Director.

Youth will be given the opportunity to sign-up for the 7th Annual Super Summer Spelling Bee, and the opportunity to participate in our 10th annual KidsFit Jamathon Concert which will be conducted in-person at the South Florida Fairgrounds and virtually following CDC and State recommended guidelines in July.

Enrollment for camp is now open for ages 5-17. Camp begins June 21 Monday-Friday 8:00-6:00pm. Breakfast, Lunch and Snack is provided to all the campers at both locations and the registration fee is $30 per camper. Early Drop-Off is at 7:30am and is free to all the parents. The five locations are: The Gardens School of Technology Arts (Palm Beach Gardens), JFK Somerset Academy (Lake Worth), St. John Missionary Baptist Church (Boynton Beach), West Jupiter Parks and Recreation (Jupiter), and Crossroads Community Center (South Bay) sponsored by the Jim Moran Foundation.
