The Wellington Family AutoFest Charity Car Show and Family Outing invites you to join the Florida Day celebration at Village Park off Pearson in Wellington starting at 9:30 AM.
Along with the usual amazing vehicles, peer judged competition, food, music, and family activities including a face painter, the AutoFest is hosting a “Florida’s Best” contest for families, friends and neighbors open to all entrants (you don’t need a show vehicle).
Everyone is encouraged to bring out their inner “Florida” with their favorite tropical hat, shirts, shoes, or other swag and decorate their car, SUV, truck, motorcycle, golf cart….
There’s a $10 fee to enter your vehicle into the contest which is part of the event benefiting Back to Basics and foster family causes. The winner will get a special trophy and a chance to participate in their decorated vehicle with family in the Wellington Holiday Parade.
There will be the usual peer judged competition for show vehicles ($20) and general show vehicle area ($10) along with the VIP area for contest entrants.
Back to Basics https://backtobasicsinc.org/ is an all-volunteer group helping underserved children with the basic necessities of new sneakers, socks, underwear and a gift to over 7,500 children each year and more than 17,000 new school uniforms every year to children in need that in Palm Beach County elementary schools.
