The YWCA of Palm Beach County announces that its monthly “Brown Bag Lunch” will be held on Thursday, February 25, 2016, 12:00 noon at the YWCA Corporate Office, 1016 North Dixie Highway, West Palm Beach. This month’s topic is Turning 65? Medicare 101: an educational discussion to help you choose the Medicare option that’s right for you, presented by Maggie Zeller, Account Executive with Evergreen Insurance in Royal Palm Beach. Evergreen is an independent, family-owned insurance agency committed to building long-lasting relationships with its clients and finding the best protection for the most competitive premium. Zeller specializes in health insurance for seniors, but also offers commercial, group, home-owners, and auto insurance. Working in the financial services industry for more than 25 years, Zeller was employed by Morgan Stanley, Gabelli Asset Management, Sterling Bank, and Iberia Bank. She moved from Westchester County, NY in 1991 and has been very active in the western communities, volunteering for numerous charitable organizations including: Rotary Club of Wellington; Little Smiles; The Lord’s Place; American Cancer Society; Kids Cancer Foundation; Back to Basics; My Brothers Sisters Keeper; Palms West Hospital; and the YWCA where she sits on the Board of Directors. Zeller was the recipient of the 2011 Palms West Community Foundation’s Stiletto Award, was the Wellington Rotary Club Rotarian of the Year in 2012, and was given the 2014 Frank T. Gladney Community Service Award by the Rotary Club of Wellington. She has two grown sons, Christopher and Adam, both of whom live locally. She is a grandmother to Luke, 18 months, and Jack, born January 15, 2016–just a few weeks ago. When Zeller is not volunteering, traveling or babysitting, she can be found reading a book on the beach. There is no charge to attend, but space is limited, so please reserve your spot now. Feel free to bring your lunch with you; the YWCA will provide beverages and dessert. If you would like to attend, please reply to Carol Henry at 561-640-0050, Ext. 134, or chenry@ywcapbc.org.
