Barcello Launches Family Dinners for 4

Restaurant continues to innovate to maintain business during this difficult time

NORTH PALM BEACH, FL — (April 27, 2020) — As Covid-19 closings continue to remain in force in South Florida, Barcello has been creative in staying afloat by offering customers takeout, curbside and delivery service and participating in various community efforts—the restaurant recently participated in The Supper Club as a Featured Restaurant.

This past Sunday [April 26], Barcello launched its new Family Dinner for 4 program and sold out. The dinner, an Italian “Sunday Gravy,” consisted of one-half tray of braised meatballs, sausage and ribs in a red sauce; one-half tray of rigatoni in sauce; one-half tray of Caesar salad; ciabatta bread; and cookies. Cost: $75.

The next Family Dinner for 4 is scheduled for Thursday, April 30, and will include “Chicken Scarpariello” [Shoemakers-style Chicken]—a whole chicken with sausage, peppers and onion in a white sauce; one-half tray of green salad with balsamic vinaigrette; one-half tray of roasted potatoes and string beans; ciabatta; and cookies. Cost: $75.

“We are committed to continue to find ways to be innovative during this unprecedented time,” said owner and chef, Robert Ghini. “Our customers and the community have been so supportive of us and our fellow restaurateurs during this crisis. At Barcello, we want to keep making great food. Not only does it allow us to keep our staff on payroll, but it allows us to give back.”

The dinners are available for pre-order or until supplies last. Barcello also offers a wine selection and recently introduce its new Cocktails to Go program. Each 12-ounce bottle serves two. Cocktails available include Limoncello Martini, Espresso Martini, Hibiscus Margarita and 561 Manhattan.

About Barcello

Co-owners and brothers Robert and Victor Ghini grew up on Long Island, NY, working in the family’s restaurants, Pappagallo, doing everything from cleaning the tables and floors to helping in the kitchen. The Ghini family is credited with popularizing northern Italian fare in Long Island. Pappagallo was said to be the epicenter of northern Italian and continental cuisines from its opening in 1969 until it sold in 1993. In 2004, Robert Ghini opened Limoncello Ristorante, an intimate Italian-focused menu in Palm Beach Gardens. In March 2017, a second restaurant, Barcello, was opened in North Palm, FL. The restaurant offers diners an extensive upscale, contemporary menu. Barcello was named a Diner’s Choice Award recipient for “Best Contemporary American Restaurant in Palm Beach County” in January and February 2020.
