A New Kind of Family Fun – Special Events Every Weekend

J Street Junction is a quirky little side street in Downtown Lake Worth Beach It is quickly becoming one of Palm Beach County’s HOT SPOTS for fun and entertainment.  Starting in October, J Street weekends will buzz weekends filled with Art Shows, Music, Dancing in the Streets, Great Food.  Lots of fun activities are planned for families, children and teens. 

J Street, already a haven for serious art collectors, music affianados and foodies, will now open the West Side of the Street, the side alley and backyard entertainment venues almost every weekend to creatives of all kinds. 

Thanks to generous grants from the Cultural Division of the State of Florida, the Groelle Foundation the Sponsorships of Rudy’s Pub, the Flamingo Clay Studio, and generous permitting from the City of Lake Worth Beach, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays will be filled with artists, musicians, dancers, food, drink and a lot of LED Lights. 

Every First  Friday, First Saturday and First Sunday the block will be turned over to the Music and Art the Students of Palm Beach County’s School Districts.   Lake Worth High School’s Centennial Year will be celebrated.  The talents of young visual and perfoming artists, as well as their teachers,  will be showcased. Fund-raisers will be held to support  many of their school programs.

 Every Second Friday, Second Saturday and Second Sunday will turn J Street into an Antiques and Vintage Row.- West Side of the Block.  Vendors, and artists both, will feature the Vintage, the Crafty, the Trendy,  and the truly Weird ware and talents of our region.

The Third Friday, Third Saturday and Third Sunday is dedicated to fine arts – a taste of treasures to send the old year out, and major Fine Arts shows beginning in the New Year.  Included in these weekends will be free arts adventure for children and families.  

Starting in November, the Fourth Weekend of Each Month is about local food and culture.    In November begins an Empty Bowl Fundraiser for charity.  This will feature a Scavenger Hunt Restaurant and Speicalty Shop Crawl throughout town, hunting down tastes of food, discounts and prizes.  At least 20 local venues will take part. On Fourth Fridays and Fourth Sundays, the music and dance of many local cutures be celebrated. 

Rudy’s Pub, a sponsor of these events, will be presenting musical performances, both in front of their venue and on their back patio throughout the entire month.  They will have food and beverages available.

Flamingo Clay Studio,  a sponsor of these events, will have free art lessons on a regular basis, as well as child friendly treats and special events for children and families to enjoy.

J Street Junction is your destination stop for art and music in Downtown Lake Worth.  With the Kroman Gallery and Clay Glass Metal Stone Gallery, the find arts flourish on the block.  Music and entertainment are always there at Rudy’s Pub, The Bamboo Room, and Propaganda.
