LAKE WORTH PLAYHOUSE PRESENTS THE CALAMARI SISTERS’ BIG BOUNCING BABY SHOWER
LAKE WORTH, Florida (March 1, 2011)
The Lake Worth Playhouse is hosting as a special event, The Calamari Sisters in a performance of Big Bouncing Baby Shower. The performances is one night only on March 16th at 7:30pm on the stage of the Lake Worth Playhouse located at 713 Lake Avenue in downtown Lake Worth.
BIG BOUNCING BABY SHOWER is special reading performed by THE CALAMARI SISTERS, Delphine and Carmela.
Move over Dr. Spock, here come the Calamari Sisters! Join the sisters, once again, as they prepare to celebrate the newest addition to the Calamari family. Delphine and Carmela are in rare form, catering the biggest bouncing baby shower Brooklyn has ever seen. There’s no stopping this duo of singing, dancing, and cooking Italian Mamas from belting out tunes such as “Baby Face,” “I Got You Babe,” “Me and My Baby,” and “You Must Have Been A Beautiful Baby.” Lamaze will never be quite the same once the Calamari Sisters get done with it!
The Calamari Sisters is an original production of: LIVELY ARTS PRODUCTIONS, a New York based production company focused on theatrical development, investment, and producing, as well as event and design services. Theatrical credits: Cocktails With Coward (Northern Stage, Don’t Tell Mama), The Lightning Field (Fringe 2005 – Winner of Best Play and GLAAD Media Award), Ethan Frome: The Musical (York Theatre Developmental Workshop), White Noise (NYMF 2007), The Greatest Holiday Musical…Ever! (Don’t Tell Mama), Irving Berlin’s I Love A Piano (First National), Booking Consultant on several national tours including The Wedding Singer (Second National) through Off Broadway Booking. Currently in development for the national tours of Swing For Victory and South Pathetic, a one man comedy starring Jim David. ABOUT LAKE WORTH PLAYHOUSE
Lake Worth Playhouse is a non-profit community theatre with a diverse array of offerings, including award-winning dramas, comedies, musicals, area premieres, Broadway favorites, children’s shows, ballets and operas on film, live concerts, improv comedy and alternative programming. LOCATION
Lake Worth Playhouse is located at 713 Lake Avenue in Downtown Lake Worth. It is situated on the south side of Lake Avenue two blocks east of Dixie Highway. Free, well-lighted parking is available on Lake Avenue and surrounding side streets, with free parking lots located behind the Playhouse.
