Seoyoung Kwon, daughter of Hyungbae Kwon, will join her father as the musical guest for the evening. Seoyoung is a senior at the Dreyfoos School of the Arts in West Palm Beach Florida. Carina Inoue, graduate of the New England Conservatory of Music, will accompany Seoyoung on the piano.

The amenities at South Florida’s first agrihood were in full bloom March 9 during Arden’s grand opening celebration. FoundCare, Inc. Expands Pediatric Services and County Locations Palm Beach County FQHC Focuses on Access to Affordable Care for the Whole Family
WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – With increasing demand to help underserved populations gain access to quality healthcare, FoundCare, Inc. has opened a pediatric office in a new location and added an additional four new pediatricians to its staff roster.
Three experienced physicians have been added to the newly-opened FoundCare Pediatric North located in the Mollie Wilmot Palm Healthcare Pavilion at 5205 Greenwood Avenue in West Palm Beach. Drs. Jaime Lambrecht, Janis Jones and Lisa Ferreira will see patients at this new site Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The facility features seven exam rooms and the site is strategically located in an underserved neighborhood that will benefit from the services offered.
“We are growing to meet the needs of the community,” said Bonnet. “We just extended our reach to include our new site at FoundCare Pediatric North and expect to add an additional 3,000 patients a year in that new location. In addition to the three new pediatricians there, we added another pediatrician, Dr. Jean Monice, M.D., and an additional 10 new exam rooms to our central primary location on Congress Avenue in West Palm Beach to meet the growing needs of pediatric patients throughout the county.”
In 2018, FoundCare served more than 15,000 patients across its five Palm Beach County locations. This garden tour will encompass over 60 acres of carefully crafted landscapes designed to capture your eye and inspire your inner gardener.
Deeridge Farms Gardens are the creation of Jeremy and Margaret Jacobs and were inspired by famed landscape architect Frederick Law Olmsted. Some of the designs include a lily pond landscape, a butterfly garden, a Japanese garden, a bromeliad garden, the orchid house, wetlands, strategically placed pathways, and much, much more! Wild birds of all types flock to this locale and are viewable throughout the year. They include ospreys, ducks, geese, swans, hawks, whooping cranes, and egrets. The 10th annual St. Jude Palm Beach Dinner to benefit children with cancer, other life-threatening diseases at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital

(March 21, 2019) – Preparations are underway for the tenth anniversary of the St. Jude Palm Beach Dinner benefiting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital® on Wednesday, April 3, at Club Colette in Palm Beach. SUSAN G. KOMEN® FLORIDA ANNOUNCES NEW TREATMENT ASSISTANCE INVESTMENT FOR BREAST CANCER PATIENTS IN FLORIDA
FLORIDA (MARCH 22, 2019) – Susan G. Komen Florida today announced a new investment in its commitment to support local women dealing with a breast cancer diagnosis. As part of the organization’s Bold Goal to reduce current breast cancer deaths by 50 percent in the U.S. by 2026, Komen Florida is contributing $60,000 to Komen’s National Treatment Assistance Program, with funds earmarked to provide direct financial assistance for Florida patients dealing with the crippling costs associated with breast cancer treatment.
“Our mission remains to save lives by meeting the needs of those facing a breast cancer diagnosis,” shared Kate Watt, Komen Florida Executive Director. “We know there are many barriers that prevent breast cancer patients from accessing the life-saving treatment and care they require. No one should have to choose between putting food on the table and getting the treatment she needs to save her life. By earmarking even more of our funds, we are able to help eliminate some of these barriers to assist our neighbors in need. We are confident this will save lives right here in the communities we serve across the state of Florida.”
To be eligible, patients must have incomes at or below 250% of the federal poverty line and an active breast cancer diagnosis. The program covers limited costs associated with breast cancer treatment such as oral pain medication, anti-nausea medication, oral chemotherapy/hormone therapy, child care/elder care, home care, transportation, lymphedema care and supplies, and durable medical equipment.
“As we dedicate even more of our resources to directly support those undergoing treatment, we are also working in other ways to support our communities,” continued Watt.” I am proud to share that we are also growing our reach to help communities most in need, and providing more local funding for mammograms, diagnostic services and education.”

Wellington, FL (March 18, 2019) – From 3-year-old Aubrey Trisjano, the youngest rider, to 100-year-old World War II Army Air Corps veteran Pete Peterson watching from a VIP table, the second annual Buck Off Challenge was an awe-inspiring success for all ages.
The Buck Off Challenge was held Friday (March 15) at Wellington National Golf Club before a raucous crowd of more than 300 guests that included numerous heroes, and raised more than $27,000 for the Stuart-based Southeast Florida Honor Flight. The veterans on site received several standing ovations throughout the evening as the appreciative audience thanked them repeatedly for their service and sacrifice.

The next trip for Southeast Florida Honor Flight, a 501c3 non-profit organization that flies World War II, Korean War and Vietnam War veterans to Washington, D.C. to visit the memorials built to honor their service and sacrifice, is scheduled for Saturday, April 13.
Twelve-year-old Trent Ferrier earned a perfect 100 score in the one-man buck-off to give The Real Bucking Deal a thrilling overtime victory for the second consecutive year.
Northwestern Mutual Ninjas, dressed as the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, used their super powers to force a ride-off. Shah Qureshi led off with a 99 but was bested by Ferrier’s perfect score.

Celebrity judges were former WPTV News Channel 5 anchor Roxanne Stein, Equestrian Sport Productions President Michael Stone and Toby Basore, a vegetable grower in western Palm Beach County and a member of the Farm Credit of Florida board of directors. But the biggest celebrity and crowd favorite among the judges was 94-year-old World War II veteran Carmin Yannotta.
The audience cheered extra loud encouragement for the youngsters under 6 years old who participated and added another layer of genuineness – and cuteness — to the cause. Their determination led to several veterans to tame the bull with their rides.

MAYOR MUOIO’S FINAL FAREWELL City of West Palm Beach Mayor Jeri Muoio to address community at March 21 Clematis by Night
(WEST PALM BEACH, Fla.) – Mayor Jeri Muoio will be onsite at Clematis by Night on Thursday, March 21 to personally thank the community for their support over the past eight years. While Mayor Muoio won’t officially leave office until April 4, 2019, the celebration is the last Clematis by Night of her term. The weekly concert series takes place on Thursdays at the Palm Stage near the Great Lawn (on North Clematis Street, just west of Flagler Drive) but is cancelled on Thursday, March 28 due to the Palm Beach International Boat Show. For locals looking to say goodbye to Mayor on March 21, the concert runs from 6 – 9 p.m., and Mayor Muoio will address the crowd at 7 p.m.
“It has been an honor to serve the City of West Palm Beach for eight years,” said Mayor Muoio. “I look forward to the opportunity to personally thank our community for their continued support, partnership in problem solving and the genuine character they have displayed. I am grateful for the opportunity to have served for two terms on behalf of the residents in what I believe is the greatest city.”
Mayor Muoio, who is term limited, ran initially in 2011 on what came to be known as the J.E.R.I. Plan – an acronym for “Jobs, Environment, Reorganization and Integrity.” Her leadership has brought forward successes in each of these categories, most notably with the strong economic resurgence in West Palm Beach – which has created jobs and a vibrant business climate; creation of the Office of Sustainability; establishment of the Flagler Financial District; creation of the Mayor’s Village Initiative – to engage African-American boys and young men in the City’s North End; lowest crime rate in 20+ years; and an emphasis on placemaking and public spaces; the award-winning Clematis Streetscape project, which is one example of her leadership of putting people, instead of roads, first. Prior to her election as Mayor, Mayor Muoio served on the West Palm Beach City Commission for four years and was reelected twice by the voters.
