SOCIETY AND ARTS MINGLED AT 2016 MUSE AWARDS TO HONOR LOCAL ARTISTS AND PERFORMERS
Biggest Event of the Season for Arts and Culture in The Palm Beaches
Dazzled on Thursday Night at the Kravis Center – $250,000 Raised for Arts and Education
Lake Worth, April 5 — The Cultural Council of Palm Beach County Muse Awards — the glittering awards show and dinner that takes place every two years – attracted an A-list audience on Thursday evening at the Kravis Center, raising $250,000 for arts and education. Co-Chairs of the evening were Roe Green and Christine Stiller. VIPs from society and the arts, regional dignitaries and county officials who gathered to honor individuals and organizations for their contributions to arts and culture in The Palm Beaches were treated to the biggest show in Muse Awards history, with the most-ever musical numbers and cast members.
The evening fundraiser began with cocktails followed by dinner and the awards program. This year’s live program was directed and produced by Andrew Kato, who is producing artistic director and chief executive of Maltz Jupiter Theatre and a veteran Tony Awards producer. The theme of the 2016 Muse Awards was “Everything Old is New Again,” celebrating the transition of arts and culture in The Palm Beaches, Florida’s Cultural Capital®, from the 1900s to the present.

About the Cultural Council of Palm Beach County
The Cultural Council of Palm Beach County is the official support agency for arts and culture in The Palm Beaches, serving non-profit organizations, artists and arts districts.
