Compass’s 21st Annual Stonewall Ball was held on June 24, 2023 at the Cox Science Center and Aquarium. The evening included great company, delicious food and drinks, a fabulous silent auction, live entertainment, and an awards ceremony. This year’s theme was “Back to our Future.” The VIP reception took place indoors and the dance party commenced outside at 9 pm.
The primary goal of Stonewall Ball is to generate funds to sustain Compass Community Center’s programs and operations. Serving the LGBTQ+ community in Palm Beach County for 35 years, Compass Community Center uses the funds raised to support their various programs such as HIV/AIDS Insurance premium and co-pay programs, peer-support groups, youth groups, transgender resources and support, free mental health services, and cultural competency trainings for government agencies, corporations, and small businesses.
