Volunteers needed for Loggerhead Marinelife Center’s TurtleFest 2019 – Oceans of Opportunity

Love the ocean, craft food and beer, local art and stellar music? Join Loggerhead Marinelife Center (LMC) on Saturday, March 23 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Palm Beach County’s largest ocean conservation festival – the 16th Annual TurtleFest!

This FREE, ocean-inspired festival, located at LMC and the surrounding Loggerhead Park in Juno Beach, anticipates over 10,000 people throughout the day to celebrate and learn about ocean conservation.

Because this is a large-scale event, it requires manyhardworking and dedicated volunteers for the day. The Center will need volunteers more than ever this year to help make TurtleFest the best one yet!

TurtleFest will feature local vendors and art, games, conservation-friendly activities, live music, craft food and beer, up-close interactions with the Center’s sea turtle patients and so much more.

Volunteers can choose a four-and-a-half-hour shift in the morning or afternoon and will receive a free meal courtesy of sponsor, Jersey Mike’s Subs, and a TurtleFest t-shirt. Volunteers are also welcome to enjoy the festival before or after their shift.
