Art Exhibit. This year the students have been invited to create artwork that reminds
them of their favorite memory with trees: whether it be picnicking under them,
swinging from them or climbing them. There will also be a variety of education arts
and crafts activities for kids, including making natural bird feeders with the Audubon
Society of the Everglades. The Lake Worth City Tree Board is composed of volunteers appointed by the Mayor and City Commissioners. The Tree Board is one of a number of advisory boards which assist the City Commission. Members of the public are encouraged to attend Tree Board meetings on the second Thursday of the month.
