Bolay embraces the state of the unknowns in light of the COVID-19 Pandemic

0

Bolay embraces the state of the unknowns in light of the COVID-19 Pandemic. Serving their local communities Fresh, Bold Flavors via Curbside Pick Up and Free Delivery.

Bolay, a conglomerate of 15 restaurants in South and Central Florida opened its doors in the spring of 2016. With a mission to inspire people to be the best versions of themselves through nutrient-rich, fresh food, Bolay’s growth has been tremendous out of the gates. Like any start-up, Bolay has conquered challenges through rapid growth and has always leaned into their unshakable culture to push them to the next level of greatness.

Being a 4-year-old start-up brand, to say Bolay hasn’t been sent for a tailspin would be an understatement. “Preparing for a sudden pandemic is something I don’t think anyone was or could have been fully prepared for. ” Says CEO, Chris Gannon. “Hurricanes are what we know down here in Florida and they always come with somewhat of a heads up, but this, this is different”. With a constant change of direction, Bolay has had to pivot quickly, to ensure our Teams and our Guests are being provided the best food, at the highest quality, the Bolay way.

Bolay has the ability to reach thousands in the community and give fresh food in bulk quantities and family packs. “The grocery stores were not prepared for the influx of people coming in and wiping out the shelves. Our restaurants are capable of providing fresh food, ready to heat and ready to eat, in large quantity” Says Chris. “We realized quickly that our guests were not comfortable joining us for the build your own bowl experience in our dining rooms. So we set up curbside pick-up tents, where guests can order online and simply drive by as a team member with gloves and a smile hands them their order”. Bolay has also set up free contactless delivery at select locations so guests can stock up on their favorite items, without leaving their homes.

“I am beyond impressed by how quickly our 900+ Team Members have adapted to our temporary situation and how their attitudes continue to bleed our culture. At a time like this, with so many unknowns, it’s our culture that continues to strengthen and the All-In spirit really shines. I know this is something we will overcome and be stronger because of it. As we say – Bolay All Day!”

Wellington, FL (March 18, 2020) – When it was announced Friday, March 13 that the Winter Equestrian Festival was ending early, Sarah Rowen of Fab Finds by Sarah knew she would need to take swift action to help other small businesses in these uncertain times.

“Regardless of anything else that happens with COVID-19, we all need to eat. The dog food you get at the local pet store, the salon where you always get your hair cut, the restaurant you usually frequent for dinner… all of those places will need our support in the coming weeks, months,” Rowen said. “To help them, I’m extending a discount on Fab Finds by Sarah purchases made from now until the end of March if you show a gift card receipt from a local-to-you business.”

For a $150 gift card purchase to a local-to-you business, Fab Finds by Sarah is offering a 15 percent discount off your next purchase; for a $200 gift card purchase to a local-to-you business, Fab Finds by Sarah is offering a 20 percent discount off your next purchase. This is a one-time-use discount that expires at the end of March.

With social distancing and recommendations against large gatherings, Rowen is introducing an exclusive appointment-based personal shopping experience: Face Time with Fab Finds by Sarah, where Sarah and her team will video chat with clients (through Apple’s Facetime, Skype or Facebook Messenger), sharing the perfect styles for you, and then mailing clients their fabulous finds.

“I’ve always offered this digital shopping experience on a smaller scale, however, I want to allow everyone the opportunity to have their favorite pieces without risking their health, and while supporting other local, small businesses like Fab Finds by Sarah,” Rowen said. “Small businesses don’t have the same support as large corporations, but we do have a great deal of flexibility. We can adapt to best serve our customers, and that’s what our goal is with this promotion – support our customers, and help support other local, small businesses.”

Fab Finds by Sarah offers handmade python bags from Italy, as well as beautiful items from brands such as Monrow, Kokun, Raffaello Rossi, Moussy Denim, Zadig & Voltaire, Brodie Cashmere, Rails, 360 Cashmere, Skull Cashmere, AG, Jbrand, Golden Goose sneakers, Boyish, 27 Miles, Naadam, Sundry, Oats Cashmere, Minnie Rose and Tornabuoni Leather Bags.

Fab Finds by Sarah Offers Luxury Mother’s Day Gifts Mom Is Sure To Love

With a keen eye for all that is enviable, Sarah offers her personal pics for Mother’s Day

Wellington, FL (March 9, 2020) – Imagine having an entire store of beautiful, fashionable luxury items – the hard to find “it” items, the items no one else has, the latest and greatest from Europe – all available at your fingertips to surprise your wife, your mother or your sister with for Mother’s Day.

With May just around the corner, the clock is on for finding the perfect gift for the mothers in your life. It can’t be just anything; after all, the winter holidays are just a few months in the past. And it can’t be something you’d give as a birthday gift. It has to be special. It has to say, “thank you for being the mother to my children,” “thank you for being my mother, for always being there for me,” or “dear sister, you’re a great mom, thank you for taking care of my niece(s) and/or nephew(s).

It has to be special, one-of-a-kind, and not something that all the other moms at the PTA meetings or weekend sports events have. It has to be unique. It has to be for her.

At Fab Finds by Sarah, a luxury boutique offering eco-friendly luxury brands, Moussy denim, 27 Miles Malibu clothing, Kokun shirts, Raffaello Rossi pants, exclusive S. Row Design jewelry, as well as the world’s largest collection of women’s Golden Goose sneakers, are all conveniently available online, through a personal shopping experience, or by visiting the Palm Beach International Equestrian Center during the Winter Equestrian Festival.

“My goal is for every woman who wears Fab Finds by Sarah brands to feel special,” owner Sarah Rowen said. “I pick the softest cashmere, most luxurious leather and most comfortable denim available to provide to clients. I created S. Row Designs jewelry, a pave set diamond line, to meet the needs of my clients, providing that special sparkle for all occasions.”

As Mother’s Day nears, Rowen suggests some of her favorite items as gifts that are sure to be a smashing hit. For the mom who spends time on the sidelines, the Flora Bella Crochet Raffia Jessica Fedora is a stylish way to keep the sun off her face as she watches the little ones run across the field. The Raffaello Rossi Candy Pant is perfect for brunch with the other moms, while the AG Skinny Ankle Leatherette and S. Row Designs Diamond Love Bracelet are perfect for date night. Golden Goose sneakers, the kind worn by Taylor Swift and other pop superstars instantly upgrade her “cool” factor, while the Zadig & Voltaire print scarf adds a flair of whimsy. JBrand leather pants and the Minnie Rose cashmere off shoulder sweater adds a sexy mood to any outfit.

“I want her to wear these pieces, not for these pieces to wear her,” Rowen said. “While each piece has its own personality, they can be worn any time, any place, and she’ll instantly be the talk of the room.”

Rowen brings a unique blend of personal shopping and exclusive boutique to South Florida, offering items for sale in person, through her website, or even through personal shopping experiences conducted over video chat.

If something you choose for that special woman in your life doesn’t fit just so, bring it, and her, back to Rowen to find something that makes her eyes light up.

MALTZ JUPITER THEATRE’S ANNUAL GALA RAISES $742,000

MALTZ JUPITER THEATRE’S ANNUAL GALA

RAISES $742,000 FOR THE NOT-FOR-PROFIT REGIONAL THEATRE

AND ITS CONSERVATORY

The Theatre’s spectacular Chicago-themed gala ‘The Roaring 2020s’ honored the Milton and Tamar Maltz Family Foundation

March 12, 2020 (Jupiter) – It was the party of the decade.

Held February 15 at Jupiter’s hottest new venue, Pelican Club, more than 300 guests donned their swankiest flapper attire and 20s-era suits for the Maltz Jupiter Theatre’s glamorous and daring annual gala, The Roaring 2020s, which raised $742,000 for the not-for-profit Theatre and its Conservatory.

Inspired by the Theatre’s smash hit musical Chicago, the elite affair was hosted by Honorary Chairs Isanne and Sandy Fisher and honored an entity that has supported the Theatre since its inception: the Milton and Tamar Maltz Family Foundation.

Upon arrival, guests received their exclusive keys to enter “Uncle Miltie’s Supper Club and Aunt Tamar’s Emporium” and were treated to an enthralling and fun-filled themed tribute to founding benefactors Milton and Tamar Maltz and their foundation, including a special human-sized surprise cake in honor of their 90th birthdays. Dazzling entertainment featured Broadway’s Matt Loehr and Avery Sommers, as well as high-energy performances by more than 60 children and students from the Theatre’s Conservatory and the Theatre’s Professional Training Program.

“Our guests can’t stop talking about the nonstop fun they had at this year’s gala, and we feel so honored to have such a tremendous continued outpouring of support and enthusiasm from our community,” said Christina Rynasko, the Theatre’s development events and special projects manager. “Our not-for-profit theatre wouldn’t be here without its generous supporters, and we are continually strengthened by the wonderful commitment our friends and family bring to continuing our mission to entertain, educate and inspire.”

With stunning panoramic views of the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse and Museum and Intracoastal Waterway, an eight-piece orchestra and singer set the mood with Big Band and jazz music as they transported guests back in time to the allure and panache of a prohibition-era Supper Club. Guests danced the night away in the venue’s glass ballroom, bid on elegant auction items to benefit the theatre and were treated to a sumptuous three-course feast at tables adorned with flourishes of burgundy, cream and gold. In true ‘20s style, a flapper and policeman made comical appearances throughout the evening, causing mischief and keeping guests on their toes.

“We are so proud that we were able to honor the Maltz Jupiter Theatre’s founding board members Milton and Tamar Maltz with a party big enough to celebrate all they continue to do – not only for our Theatre, but for their impactful contributions across the country through their foundation,” said Andrew Kato, the Theatre’s producing artistic director and chief executive. “They are true visionaries and leaders who make a difference in everything they do.”

The Foundation – which supports programs in the areas of the arts, health and human services, medical research, education and the environment – was part of the original team credited with the acquisition of the former Burt Reynolds Dinner Theatre building and its subsequent transformation into the Maltz Jupiter Theatre. Nine years later, the Foundation helped create the Theatre’s $10 million endowment by committing $7 million through a three-to-one matching fundraising challenge, and last season, the Maltzes announced that the Foundation would match all new donations to the Theatre’s Believe capital campaign dollar-for-dollar up to $5 million, inspiring the community to invest further in the Theatre’s expansive future.

The Theatre is only one piece of a diverse tapestry of initiatives the Foundation has fulfilled, including the creation of the International Spy Museum in Washington, D.C. and the Maltz Museum of Jewish Heritage in Beechwood, Ohio. They have worked tirelessly to ensure that art remains accessible to young people at both the Cleveland Orchestra and the Cleveland Museum of Art. Their focus on medical research has seen the creation of the innovative Cleveland Clinic Mobile Stroke Unit.

The gala raised funds for the Theatre’s award-winning productions to help keep its performances affordable for all, as well as inspiring the next generation of young audiences through the Theatre’s community outreach programs. It also helped support local families by providing scholarships for children to attend classes and camps at the Conservatory. More than 25 percent of students receive scholarships.

Located on the Theatre’s property in Jupiter, the Conservatory is a premiere professional Conservatory that offers a challenging, innovative and quality theatre experience to students of all ages and abilities. In addition to a full schedule of year round classes, the unique connection to the Theatre allows for exclusive hands-on workshops and master classes that offer students an opportunity to learn from nationally-known directors and Broadway performers, agents and local instructors. With state-of-the-art dance, voice and acting studios, the Conservatory is also home to the Theatre’s Professional Training Program, a two-year certificate program designed to train young actors for a career in theatre, musical theatre, film and television. The Conservatory draws more than 600 students per year from as far as Miami, Wellington and Fort Pierce.
