Never Scrub the Inside of a Toilet Again

NEVER SCRUB THE INSIDE OF A TOILET AGAIN… NOW THAT’S GREEN & CLEAN!

By Jathynia Garcia

So we all have a Smartphone, we’ve seen some advancements in Smart car technology but how about a Smart toilet… Yes you heard correctly. Now thanks to TOTO’s Neorest 750 you can have a fully automated self-cleaning smart toilet.

According to TOTO, it incorporates a variety of technologies to clean itself.

The clever commode relies on what they call Actilight technology, which blasts the toilet bowl with ultraviolet light, killing bugs, bacteria and helping it to remain non-stick.

The surface of the bowl is coated with a layer of titanium dioxide and zirconium, and is super-hydrophilic – attracting water droplets to its surface to create a thin film of water.

Elsewhere, it uses electrolysis to remove any waste from inside the bowl and the flush uses electrolysis.

The manufacturers claim the intelligent toilet may only need to be cleaned as little as once a year. However, bear in mind it is only able to clean itself on the inside. So users will still be responsible for any near misses on the exterior

HERE’S A LIST OF THE COOL FEATURES YOU CAN HAVE WITH THIS ONE OF A KIND TOILET…

  • Tornado/Siphon Jet Flushing System
  • Actilight UV light cleaning system built in lid
  • CeFiONtect™ ceramic glaze – a highly smoothed surface for easier cleaning
  • Dual Flush Function (1.0GPF/3.8LPF and 0.8GPF/3.0LPF)
  • Universal Height
  • Washlet® with three wash modes (front, rear, soft)
  • Oscillating and Pulsing Comfort Washing
  • Auto Lid open/close, Auto Flush
  • Automatic Air Purfying System
  • Adjustable Heated Seat
  • Adjustable Spray Position
  • Programmable Energy Saver System
  • Back-up Manual Flush
  • ewater+® – mists the bowl with Electrolyzed Water, reducing the need for harsh cleaning chemicals
  • Multifunctional Remote Control

Here’s a link to the TOTO website where you can see videos, pictures & purchase your own personal Smart toilet.
http://www.totousa.com/neorest%C2%AE-750h-dual-flush-toilet-10-08-gpf-actilight%E2%84%A2

With a price tag of just over $10,000 you can see that many people are starting to think it’s a good idea to flush a little money down the toilet.

Take a break and unwind! The Maltz Jupiter Theatre has your entertainment solution for “no work, all plays” – with five unique special nights reserved for you

June 27, 2016 – Get out and celebrate! Treat yourself to five nights of fun at the Maltz Jupiter Theatre.

Whether you’re celebrating date night, girls’ night out, family night or a special occasion, the Theatre is sure to spice up your social calendar with endless possibilities. Need a gift or a ‘just because’ outing? The Theatre has options for everyone with season tickets, featuring five reasons to get out to the Theatre throughout the season.

The 2016/17 season will begin with The Audience (October 23 – November 6), Peter Morgan’s riveting new play that will take audiences behind the walls of Buckingham Palace and into the private chambers of Queen Elizabeth II for meetings with each of her Prime Ministers. We continue with Me and My Girl (November 29 – December 18), the heart-warming dance sensation that follows an unrefined charmer who learns he is heir to the Earl of Hareford. Next up is The Producers (January 10 – 29), Mel Brooks’ Tony Award®-winning musical phenomenon about a down-on-his-luck producer and his accountant who scheme to produce a Broadway flop. Then join us for Disgraced (February 12 – 26), a provocative and thought-provoking new Pulitzer Prize-winning play that examines the stories we share with our friends, the secrets we tell our lovers and the lies we tell ourselves. Our incredible season ends with the Tony Award®-winning hit musical Gypsy (March 21 – April 9), the Broadway smash inspired by the memoirs of the legendary burlesque performer Gypsy Rose Lee.
“In addition to saving money on the price of single tickets, purchasing season tickets provides an opportunity for unforgettable, unique ‘nights out’ throughout the season,” said Jennifer Sardone-Shiner, director of marketing. “Get ready to witness history come to life with the Queen with your friends for The Audience and bring your family to Me and My Girl or give tickets as a holiday gift. Have a ‘girls night out’ for The Producers, a date night for Disgraced and celebrate a special occasion with Gypsy. It’s a win-win!”

Season tickets are currently on sale and begin at $202, with two convenient purchasing options: the five-play and the opt-out of one (four-play package). Season ticket holders save 10 percent to 15 percent on single ticket prices, and also get one fee-free ticket exchange per ticket per show and advance notice and ability to purchase tickets to limited engagements and other special events. Groups of 20 or more receive an additional discount.

Theatregoers may upgrade their experience to club level premium seats accessible through the Theatre’s recently renovated space, The Green Room Club Level Lounge, where guests may enjoy a stylish lounge and amenities throughout the season. The Green Room includes a premium upper-level seating area that provides comfort, privacy and panoramic views of the stage. In this area, guests can enjoy food, drinks, festivities and a professional Broadway-caliber production in a comfortable and classy environment.

For dinner plans or a post-show cocktail, Jupiter offers the best restaurants, featuring spectacular cuisine that is sure to enhance your night out. And the fun doesn’t stop there – come for the night and stay for the weekend at one of the area’s luxurious hotels. Perfect for visiting guests or a staycation, special lodging rates are available at many local hotels, including Jupiter Beach Resort and the Wyndham Grand Jupiter at Harbourside Place. Visit the Theatre’s website for a list of restaurant and hotel partners.

Now is the best time to lock in your five nights of fun before the season begins. Enjoying Summer at the Mellon Patch Inn

Enjoying Summer at the Mellon Patch Inn

By Sandy Axelrod

Ahhh! The lazy days of summer. Steve and I were looking for a quick getaway to relax and enjoy the scenery. Lucky for us we discovered the Mellon Patch Inn on North Hutchinson Island, about an hour and twenty minutes from our home. A short drive and we were at our destination.. Perfect. We pulled in to the parking lot and took in the view. Lush tropical landscaping and clear blue sky beckoned us to enter the Key West style inn. We were graciously welcomed by the Block family, Chris, Michelle and their daughter Cady.

Now in all fairness, I have to be honest, we have known Chris since he was about 16. He has been one of our son’s best friends since he came here from England, he worked for us in our catering business for years and was even Best Man at Brian and Eve’s wedding. Chris is like a second son to me so it was a very special visit to be able to spend quality time together.

The entire inn has a seaside vibe with fabulous artwork adorning the walls in every room. Mellon Patch is modern and filled with light and love. Our room was on the first floor and because it has direct access to the patio it is considered a pet friendly room. Our sliding glass doors led to the patio and back yard complete with dock. We found it a great place to chill with a glass of wine and watch the sunset over the water. The only quirk was that it was blue crab season which meant they were everywhere. We all managed to stay clear of them until the last day when Chris was in the garage and a crab grabbed his toe. Fortunately he had socks on! Funny, you think of crabs moving rather slowly, but not these critters. If we could have caught them we would have had an amazing meal but they were way too fast for any of us.

After unpacking Steve and I went exploring. We found a really cool Antiques Mall and did a little damage there. But there are many other attractions in the area. About twenty minutes north is the Vero Outlet Mall; there are airboat rides; Indian River Lagoon Wildlife Boat tours; and right across the street from Mellon Patch is the National Navy UDT-Seal Museum. When we returned to the inn the scent of smoked meat guided us directly to the garage where Chris was smoking a pork shoulder for our dinner that night. Now the Mellon Patch Inn is really a Bed and Breakfast but since we were like family, Chris made dinner of us. We had amazing smoked pork sandwiches complete with BBQ sauce and chips and got to catch up on lost time.

Melon Patch Inn
Our English Breakfast at the Mellon Patch Inn

We awoke to the aroma of a real English breakfast wafting all the way to our room. We joined the other guests for a fantastic start to our day with fresh juice, fresh fruit salad, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, roasted tomatoes, sautéed mushrooms, hash browns and assorted breads. Utterly full and relaxed we headed just across the street to the beach. The inn even supplies beach chairs and towels to take with. We spent hours sunning, chilling in the ocean, shelling and sunning some more. A cool breeze kept us totally comfortable the entire time we were at the beach. As soon as we walked back toward the inn the heat became stifling. It’s amazing what an ocean breeze can do for your soul and the sound of the waves just lulls you into total inner peace.

For dinner our second night we went to Chuck’s Seafood which was established in 1961. We had the pleasure of dining outside overlooking the water and sunset. Our food was delicious and decadent. We started with a fresh salad, then Steve had fried shrimp, I had fried oysters and we both had crisp sweet potato fries.

We really hated to leaving our new found paradise but we had to get back to reality, though I don’t know why! We enjoyed a fantastic breakfast of Eggs Benedict and spent a bit more time with the Block family before heading back home. This was a glorious couple of days and I really highly recommend a stay at the Mellon Patch Inn. It’s the perfect place to regain your sanity.
